Pizza & Prosecco

Updated: Apr 13, 2020

Inspired by a party in Italy last summer, Pizza & Prosecco is the ideal date night or a fun activity to share with the housemates. With a hint of summer in the air and the bank holiday upon us, this celebration creates the holiday feeling at home.

The key is to be preprared, especially with flour being a rarity at the moment. You will need to plan ahead of time. I spent the evening before the event making the pizza dough. I also whipped up homemade chilli and garlic olive oil. Pizza Pilgrims cookbook has the best instructions for the perfect Neapolitan experience.

We ordered bottles of Italian wines…though resisted the urge to buy an impulsive bottle of Limencello that would sit on the shelf untouched for months after.

For a simple guide to the homemade pizza party experience, see our event at a glance below.

Buon appetito!
